New Hampshire

Over the past few years, my family and I have been traveling around the U.S.A. and we have met many different people, and made a few friends along the way. Some time ago, we made friends with a couple people from New Hampshire, and have been able to recently visit them at their home on top of a mountain range. The mountain is 4000+ ft tall and almost all of the mountain is owned by thier family, and has been for a few generations.

This is my friend's sugar house for making maple syrup.

On their mountain, they do sugaring and make their own maple syrup which they sell locally. They gather the syrup between late Feburary to early April and use their sugaring house to sweeten the sap and mak it into syrup. Their family has been making and selling maple syrup ever since 1966 roughly 40 or so years after they bought the land.

We have been planning to go on this trip for a few months now, and have wanted to go for even longer, and finally had the chance just recently. New Hamsphire is home to the largest arcade in the world as well as the worlds largest candy counter, among some other cool attractions that we had planned on visiting and seeing at some point. There is plenty to do on the mountain as well as around the area, and we have had a great time thus far.
